The Early Daze

Fourteen to sixteen feeds a day - sixteen to twenty changes a day - no
more than forty minutes consecutive sleep a night for you - Welcome to

Don't rush to leave hospital.

If these twins are your first babies, even if they have been in the
NICU for weeks or months, the more help you can get learning how to
care for them, with professional help standing by, the more help
getting into a routine, the more confidence you can gain, the better.

You will also have easier access to high grade equipment for expressing
milk for tube or top-up feeding. Premature twins are often released
home with tube feeds or just after coming off them. If you feel that
you need more time to master either tube feeding or breastfeeding your
twins, say so. Most moms feel incredulous that they could be released
to home and unleashed upon an unsuspecting newborn or two without so
much as a Brownie badge. It's natural to feel nervous about going home
but don't be pushed, jump when you are ready.

Once at home, never never promise to be anywhere with your twins before
midday.

When I had been home with my twins for 3 or 4 days, I was asked to take
them to the baby clinic for a check up at 9:30 one morning. At that
time, my twin babies were taking 90 minutes each to feed and wind, they
were still 5 weeks before their due date and they were so sleepy that
they weren't even crying yet. We were preparing dozens of bottles to
top them up when they became too tired for the exhausting labor of
breast feeding. I had never taken them out anywhere before and needed
to check and re-check my backpack several times In short, I got up at
3:30 a.m. in order to get all those jobs done and be out of the house
by 9:00. Of course, by the time I was ready, they were ready to be fed
again.

When they first arrive home and for the first few months have one crib
downstairs and one upstairs.

For some months they will both fit in one crib and, indeed, find some
comfort in being in it together. It means that you can put them down
for a nap and keep an eye on them without traipsing up and down stairs.
Don't worry about it being noisier downstairs, small babies sleep
better in noisy environments than in quiet ones and the more they
become used to this sooner the better.

Have nappy changing scattered throughout the house.

This will save you having to desert one twin to change the other or
having to cart them both off. It cuts down wear and tear on your
already over worked legs looking after your twin babies.

Crib Bedding Sets Are Easier and Are Not So Expensive

Nursery Bedding Sets Are Simpler and Are Cheaper

You can find any kind of crib bedding you can possibly imagine, from
crib sets for little girls and boys to baby bedding for twins to
bedding that works for either gender. You can certainly buy your crib
items separately, but when you figure the cost, you'll find it's quite
a bit more expensive. Baby bedding sets are for crib bedding what a bed
in a bag is for an adult's bedding. Bedding sets are the perfect way to
ensure that all your bedding will match each other, and the nursery.
You will need more than one crib sheet, but you can usually find
matching crib sheets sold as separates.

To be sure you get what you want, try to have some idea of the colors
and fabrics you want before you start your search. Silk might be a
first choice, but keep in mind that it's going to be a lot more
expensive and harder to clean than cotton or flannel. Aside from the
matching, a bedding set also offers the advantage that if you choose to
redecorate, you can significantly change the look of the room by just
buying a new bedding set.

Obviously, you will need to think about the gender of your new baby and
buy bedding that will match. Most people's common sense tells them that
pink stays out of a boy's nursery - but blue for a girl isn't so bad.
Retailers want to sell what customers want to buy, so market demand
sets the available styles. This means that unless you want something
fairly eccentric, you'll probably have no problems. Bugs, cars, and
trains are just some of the themes you'll frequently find in a boys
room. Also the ever-popular sports themes like baseball and football
baby bedding. While there are plenty of pastel sets for boys, they seem
to more often include bright colors like reds and oranges.A girl's
nursery is often ultra-feminine, incorporating flowers and frills. Soft
colors and pastels are more common for a feminine nursery. Themes like
zoo, farm, or cartoons can be a great choice because they're work with
either gender.

If you really can't find what you're looking for, you always have the
option of custom bedding. Handmade bedding becomes a family heirloom,
and making something yourself is a great way to save money and give you
child something truly special at the same time. To minimize the time
you spend searching for the right crib set, choose a budget and a theme
before you get started and stick to them.

The Hostgator/'The Planet'/Softlayer datacenters in Texas seem to be the epicenter of this activity in conjunction with anonymously registered domains of various TLD's but primarily .info domains at Godaddy which, in our opinion, has some sort of connection to the domains of goldmint.in and goldmint.org. Google has begun to notice this and has begun to lower the ranking of these sites and put our original sites back on top of the search rankings. These actions, as far as we can tell, negatively impact the use of the keyword 'zorgium' as a search term and provided little benefit, if any, to the perpetrators.

ZORGIUM note to content providers: If you don't want your page to appear in Zorgium's search abstraction then put an exclusion for "Zorgium" in your web server's robots.txt file.
